[SOLVED] No sound after Reformat..
So I reformatted my custom build the other day. I get everything up and running, I put my mobo driver cd in, I dl my vid card drivers, I download everything and everything is running fine, but I have no sound.
This puzzles me because I'm using onboard sound. Realtek. So..for me to not have sound is kind of odd, when I did 2 hours before I reformatted. I have gone to both gigabytes and Realtek's sites and downloaded the newest ver. of my driver and still nothing. Here is my set up. Gigabyte GA-P35C-D53R rev 1 2gb mushkin ram e6700 proc 74gb raptor hd 250gb wd hd 9800gtx vc 600w psu I have no idea what the problem is. I consider myself to be a veteran on computer building and this is just astonishing ![]() and yes all the cables are plugged in and the volume is NOT set to mute. |

Re: No sound after Reformat..
Download the drivers from here, if the Realtek driver doesn't try the other one

Re: No sound after Reformat..
unless you have surrond sound speakers you will have to go to the Realtek configuration and choose Desktop speakers. Not HD.
