Blank blue screen while gaming?
system:
Windows XP Pro version 2002 service pack 3 pc: intel pentium 4 cpu 3.20ghz 3.19ghz 1.00gb of ram Ok so ive been gaming alot recently on stalker:shadow of chernobyl which isnt a very demanding game, for whatever reason I get about 1 minute into the session and the game gets pretty laggy, then my PC crashes to a blank blue screen, There is no error being that the PC crashed before it had time to record any such things. ![]() any idea? |

Re: Blank blue screen while gaming?
You didn't mention what your Video card is and how much video RAM you are using? If you don't have a card, that would be a good reason. Also, blow out all fans with compressed air especially the Heat sync make sure the Processor fan continues to spin and it is not obstructed by wires. If a desktop, leave the side off and put an external fan on see if that improves performance.
