what is the actual size of the h/drive
have they started checking your thread in security yet

try a windows restore to an earlier date when all was ok

I am thinking of doing a non-destructive recovery. I have done this before when I got a trojan on the computer. When I first, did this I turned on the computer and pressed f11 or r. The system came on and I pressed non destructive recovery and the computer did it. But now I did the same thing and its asking me for the discs. I know I didn't do a recovery because the whole computer was redone and the previous drive was in a file. I jsut wanted to know if i am doing anything wrong. This is a gateway laptop. Model cx210x. A tablet PC.

and can I get it for free?

If you are talking about the windows service pack then I believe so. I put in winver in the run programm. Its says service pack 3.

see if you can get xp sp3 reinstall disks from gateway

nvm you can't do that. Kk once I get the service pack 3. What do I do? I already have it installed on my computer. How is it going to help?

i am not referring to the windows sp3 disk
i am referring to the gateway restore disks that include sp3
