Laptop Srsly messed up....(multiple BSOD.. system lockup.. recovery fail..) help plz!

i am not computer illiterate.. i am usually pretty savvy at fixing problems on my laptop... but this... i have never seen before...

long story short. i tried to get rid of the virus on my computer by installing AVG 8 internet security ... after installation and cleanup everything was good at this point.... however i accidently deleted bout 5 files from my Recovery partition.... due to the virus vault being full...
i dont think problems were cause by this... but this causes a big problem later on...

i normally run utorrent 24/7.... and it hasnt caused a problem.... but bout 2 days ago.. i started to get BSOD and restarts... it occured infrequently(2 days ago)... but have been increasing to bout every 10-20min(today). so i uninstalled AVG 8. i did several registry clean. and other system checks...

but i am STILL either getting BSOD or system lockup(everythin freezes)
and i would need to force shut off and restart...
i took a look at the minidumps... to try to pin down to the problem....
but the problem is its multiple causes..

some of the minidump says its caused by explorer.exe, other says its svhost.exe , and one file even says Utorrent exe(when utorrent wasnt runnin.. it was caused by some other process). 1 of the file says its caused by memory corruption.
heres some others..
services.exe --> sptd.sys..

i got over 15 minidump files.... and restart count well into the 60s.... so u get the idea...

is there a way i can fix this without reinstalll/recovery?

if not.. then can i do a Repair install from a windows xp media edition 2005(my os)

if not..... then wut can i do? whenever i tried to recover.. the bar will load.. and it says initializing recovery options(or somthin similar) and it would get stuck at the 1st 2 bars....

so how do i repair my recovery partition. i also have a recovery DVD.. but the recovery process does not seem to run off the dvd.. rather from the drive itself....

ugh this is so frustrating

and one more thing... CAn this BSOD and system lockup caused by a virus/malware?

Do you have Zonealarm installed? You can also Zip up and attach some of the most recent minidumps.
