what is the difference between these two is it wearth while upgrading from xp home edition,to xp pro is xp pro a better version to be running

For the average user, there is nothing in "Pro" that will provide better functioning or worthwhile features.

The main difference would be that pro has networking feature, useful if you want to join a computer or personal computer to a workplace domain. Home is just the other way around, useful for users in home

Ive heard Microsoft will support XP Pro LONGER than Home. (Because business wont ditch Pro for Vista)
