Tray icons dissapearence, HELP PLS!

Hi. Today when i turned my computer on, i ran into a proble, alot of my tray icons had dissapeared and there is no arrow to expand tray icons veiw i beliave its called ' view all ' arrow or soemthing like that at the bottom right of ur task bar next to the clock. the only ones im seeing is windows live messenger only after i run a command run/msnmsgr it appears and thats it, no clock no norton 360 no utorrent no nothing, no desktop weather channel nothing exept the msn and only if u run a comand run/msnmsgr, it has happened before very long time ago and i found a solution but there is no way i could remmember what to do, i could really help if somebody could give me a solution for this problem, srr foy my bad english xD.

Try the following. Good luck.

Start up the Windows XP Task Manager and select the Applications tab.

Now select the New Task button at the bottom of the window. A new smaller window will appear. In it simply type:

explorer.exe

explorer.exe is the Windows Program Manager (or Windows Explorer.) It manages the Windows Graphical Shell including the Start menu, taskbar, desktop, and File Manager. By restarting this process the graphical interface for Windows will reappear.
