not going in recovery mode
Hello guys
i need you help with another computer. I have HP s7612n mini desktop pc. and im trying to go in the recovery console. I know it exists on H drive although i can not view anything in there except the recovery folder. So when the pc starts i press F10 but nothing happens screen goes black for a sec but it continues to load windows. I also tried repairing windows by inserting another windows CD int he drive and following the instructions but it ends on h:/i386 command prompt and then i don't know what to do. can anybody tell me how can i so to the recovery options screen and reinstall all the windows again.???? Thanks in adv |

Re: not going in recovery mode
you need to boot from the windows disk to access the recovery console
if it has been installed look for it on the f8 menu f10 while your recovery disk is in the drive returns your computer to the day you received it unless it offers a non destructive recovery option which one are you trying to access
