cant find x64 XP drivers for my desktop, please help

i just spent 35 min on the phone with HP about my " HP Pavilion a6547-c Desktop " and they are telling me that this will not install XP since it was designed for Vista. i think thats crap. Will someone please help me to find all the basic drivers i will need to install x64 Xp on this PC? i cant find them anywhere on the HP support/drivers page so that does make me qurious.

this will help in getting the names of your drivers

second you need to go to this site for the drivers

what you should of done is come here first so we could of given you more detailed instructions

now if you have not done this down grade yet get back to me

What HP told you is true. I`m afraid that XP is not supported for that machine.

I checked their website and there are only drivers for Vista.
You will not be able to install XP on that machine

well to all who doubted me, i am/was out to prove you wrong. i have succesfully installed xp pro 64 bit AND currently running xp pro 32 bit on this machine.
the ONLY thing that isnt working properly is my dang keyboard. the volume buttons and what not arent working. only the mute button.

could someone help me find some drivers for this?

HP Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard ps/2 ( xp pro 32 bit ) Model 5189 P/N 5188-6077

but hey, thanks to everyone for the incentive to go out and get this done. seriously, its what i needed.

i beleive you for i get told that all the time & do it

i have Xp on a pentium 3 system !!! and it runs fine / overclock / but runs fine

did you try this

it carries driver for some Name Brand key boards
