Did you uninstall the video drivers (related to the Nvidia 9800GTX video card) or the nforce drivers (related to the nforce 780i chipset of the motherboard) ?

Is this XP Home, Pro, MCE ? What service pack ? If you have the retail install CD then you can do a repair installation and keep all your files and documents intact. You'll have to use a CD with the same service pack as the one installed on the computer. Use these guides (with another computer) to create an SP2 or SP3 CD if needed :

http://www.lancelhoff.com/2008/03/12...to-windows-xp/

Boot on the XP CD, press enter to setup windows now, accept the licence, select your current windows installation then press 'R' to repair the selected installation. Make sure the option you get is "repair", else exit and report here.

Edit : If you had installed internet explorer 7 then you'll have to uninstall it before starting the repair process. This can be done from the recovery console. Follow these instructions from Microsoft : How to perform a repair installation of Windows XP if Internet Explorer 7 is installed.

well im just confsed because when i install the motherboard software.
they had this uninstal some old drive to give it with new drive and need to reset then after that my mouse and key board wont work. T_T so is there a way to reformat my hardrives. without passing that windows menu.
because when i get to windows mode the keyboard and mouse wont work but my key board work on the BIOS. so im just confused is it the mother board drivers or the windows itself?

well i got two windows XP now i accidentally redownloaded it and i got two of them.
so the other one the first one i installed the mouse and keyboard was not working.
then the other one worked fine so how can i delete the other one. the Os that dont work and TY.
