To Re-install Windows Root

When i put my computer on it will directly to a window tha shows with a seclection of SAFE MODE, SAFE MOD BUT WITH NETWORK & ECT .... Sand it suggest START MANUALLY & i DID.
When I sellect START MANUALLY it will give me a message of < Windows root>\system 32\ntoskrnl.exe Pls re-install a copy of the ablove file.
But when I put my XP disc it doesn't go anywhere not even reading the disc, Pls. help

hmm
Try unpluging any external HDD (i had this error because my external was connected on a Vaio laptop :S)
If this won't fix the problem u will need to either repair or reinstall XP.
to repair you will need the XP CD and the Repair (F3 after loading) utility after the boot.
