how to remove vista icon pack v3

hi friends

i have installed vistaicon pack v3 (vip)into my system.now i don't want this. i did uninstallation , but the icons are not changing, still icons r like vista icons..not only icons..this pack changed the ie contents also..ihave ie7, befor installing vip tabbed browsing was possible in ie7, now tabbed browsing is disabled by vip...plse help me...after installing vip, whenever i open the my computer, drive icons will take time to load also....what to do....plse anybody give an idea to remove vip completely and make my system as normal xp system..without re installing os.....plseee help me...................................

Welcome to TSF....

If system restore does not work then the only fix would be to backup all of the data to another media like CD-R's, DVD, external hard drive or media that you prefer and then do a clean installation of windows, then service packs, and all programs.

i haven't created the restore point.......without reinstalling windows any other way is there to resolve this problem....if i repair the os, whether my current applications will remain or not?????
