Are there any any relevant error messages that may help in troubleshooting the freezes? How new or how old is this computer? PC or MAC? |

Please rerun Belarc following the instructions below and post results back here. Don't forget to delete your 25 digit PID located in this line,

Follow the instuctions for saving the page, then copy/paste the whole thing into an email, i will do the neccessary editing for you and then i will post it here in case anyone else can make suggestions.

Here is the Belarc report you provided, I have edited it so that your licence info cannot be seen now. After a quick look, i can see lots of resource hogging programs which i will advise about later, but i have yet to find the conflict which may be causing the problem. I will keep you posted. Hello again,
One of my colleagues quite rightly pointed out that you are sadly lacking in the Ram dept, especially running all this resource hogging software. My next advice is going to include getting rid of Norton 360 in particular. I'm sorry if you have paid for it but i don't see how we are going to get anywhere otherwise. Please advise if you are ready to do this and i will talk you through the steps required. Note: after all this is done you still won't notice much improvement speed wise but we can at least get your system running stable again. I strongly advise that you double your memory at the very least but more is better.

First of all we need to make sure we can get back to where we are now just in case anything does go wrong. If you get stuck or even if you are not sure, stop and ask, thats what i'm here for. Step 1 : Back up the registry
Step 2 : Download one of these free antivirus programs. Avira Antivir Personal Avast! Either one will do, i'm using the first one but thinking about trying the other, its up to you but for the moment i only want you to download the program, do not install it just yet! Step 3 : Download and Run Norton Removal Tool Norton Removal Tool So, on the first page, after you follow the first part of the instructions click on Norton 360 and continue to follow the instructions for removal. Immediately you finish the last step, disconnect from the internet, (pull the plug) then install your new antivirus program, reconnect and make sure it is enabled and post back when you are done. And remember, if your not sure, send me a pm if you like. That way it will flash up on my screen.
