Re: Speed Scan Pro????
Hello ,
I am not for sure if the program its self is bad , but i have searched it and almost every site that i check out makes my antivirus & spyware protection go crazy you need to follow these steps http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...oval-help.html read & follow all the instructions care fully and do not use any other cleaners for it makes it harder on the techs they use special programs to clean your system Mike R. |

Re: Speed Scan Pro????
Mike, I'm not sure what sites you where checking out, but I didn't find anything seriously wrong with Speed Scan Pro.
Although, I'm not totally sure it isn't malware. I would suggest getting expert help with malware removal. Here's a little more detail on what Mike posted. To get Expert Help with malware removal: I recommend that you read this article… ( Simply, click on the links to be re-directed.) "Having problems with spyware and pop-ups? First steps; IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help Please follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information; as instructed, in the HiJackThis Log Help Forum. http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...this-log-help/ Please ensure that you create a new thread in the HiJackThis Log Help Forum; not back here in this one. When carrying out The 5 Steps, IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help if you cannot complete any of them for whatever reason, just continue on with the next one until they are all completed. However,it is extremely important to make mention of the fact that you could not complete any of the steps in your post to HiJackThis Log Help Forum. http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...this-log-help/ where an Analyst will assist you with other workarounds. Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can. |

Re: Speed Scan Pro????
Hello ,
i did a search for the program then followed a few links and each link that i tried to save the program from AVG pop up the warning signs the the data being downloaded was a potential risk and Windows defender poped up saying the same thing i did not check evey link but the few i did try gave warnings i am not saying the program its self is bad but that the links that i tried to save the program from are those sites may be infected / they may have gotten infected when downloading the program / not the program causing the infection this is why i seggusted that they use the (Five Steps) to have their system checked I hope this is better since i cleared my explanation / i will be much more clearer next time sorry for not a full explanation Mike R. |

Re: Speed Scan Pro????
Oh, alright. Sorry, I was under the impression you just clicked the website links and not actually tried to download/install the program. I understand more clearly now.
I'm glad you are advising the Five Steps to our newer users here at TSF. It's the only way we allow for our users to get help with malware removal. Mainly because other ways could be harmful to the users computer, which then could make it harder and harder to fix. Thanks for the explanation, have a good day ![]() -Coolfreak |
