Confused Problems with Java.

Hi I am having a problem with Java Sun. I have Windows XP sp2. I am using IE7 and java version 6.07. I was having this problem a week or so ago on Firefox 3. I thought it was firefox and downloaded IE7 and had sucess for a few days. I would appreciate any help that you can offer.

Errors: 1) Java Plug-in Fatal Error
The java runtime enfironment cannot be loaded
2) Java Plug-in Fatal Error
Several java virtual machines running in the same
process caused an error.

Things I have done to attempt to fix this error:
Changed browsers. Updated java, tried earlier versions of java, tried IE without add-ons, changed perameters, uninstalled any versions of java and reinstalled the newest while offline. Cleared all temp files, did scan disk. Ran ad-aware, virus scan.

I did download toolbar cop and here are the results of that:

Re: Problems with Java.

Not sure if this will be buried and not seen. Is there a better way of getting some help with this issue.. or a better forum?

Welcome to TSF....

On your last post please to have a little bit of patience it does take a bit to read the posts and try to figure what the problem might be and on your comment, "or a better forum" that part was not really needed, it is your decision to find a better forum but seeing as I am on several and spend most of my time here I do not think you will find a better form.

From reading the post I think you have done a lot of what should have been done and I think you might have an infection on the computer we have a procedure that is usually very good at determining this and I would like you to follow it very carefully:

To get Expert Help with malware removal:

I recommend that you read this article… ( "Simply, click on the links to be re-directed.)

"Having problems with spyware and pop-ups? - First Steps";
IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

Please follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information; as instructed, in the
HiJackThis Log Help Forum.

Please ensure that you create a new thread in the HiJackThis Log Help Forum;
not back here in this one.

When carrying out The 5 Steps,
IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

if you cannot complete any of them for whatever reason, just continue on with the next one until they are all completed.
However,it is extremely important to make mention of the fact that you could not complete any of the steps in your post to HiJackThis Log Help Forum.

where an Analyst will assist you with other workarounds.

Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can. .

Re: Problems with Java.

I am sorry, I believe my response came off wrong. When I meant different forum.. I didnt' mean outside of techsupportforum.com I mean with in this site. I didn't know if there was another area in which would better suit my needs. Again, I apologize it came across wrong.

Thank you for your response.
