win xp set up

i have a copy of win xp, but no key for it. is there anything i can do to use it? thanks,nich37

no not really unless the computer you are trying to install it on has a copy of the appropriate key attatched. It usually on a sticker attatched to the pc somewhere. Note: the key has to be for the same version. ie. an xp pro key for xp pro or xp home for xp home. If you search the internet you will find various crack but none of them work and most are just full of viruses. you would be better to just buy a licensed version for the grief you will put your self through.

If its not a genuine copy then use it as a mat for your cup or a frisby... its all its worth. At the end of the day you should only use genuine disk. You will not receive help here on how to use, or crack copied software.

However, If it is legit genuine Microsoft software disk with the hologram then it may be used in conjunction of the terms and conditions/eula set out by microsoft.
