Cant connect to internet, after reformatting Windows from BSOD and wiping hardrive.
Well, I had the BSOD, unmountable boot volume problem, so I reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP to Profession Edition, im not sure if I had home or pro then. But now, I think I installed the correct drivers, couldnt find disk so downloaded onto flashdrive and installed on it. Now, I cannot connect to the internet. I plugged in the cable to my computer from the router, and it wont let me connect. Also when I scroll on something when reading, it doesnt scroll smoothly, but like it travels an inch and then a wave or something travels across screen and reloads it, only when Im scrolling though, nothing to severe. But anyways, I cant connect to the internet, how do I? I have professional now, what do I click, and what do I do? I have severe trouble hooking it up on Internet Explorer. Should I try the MSN one? Please help! Im not too experienced with computers, but my dad is. Am I missing a driver? Do I need to install all my drivers to have internet access? Whats going on? The cable is in it and everything, ive tried 2 different cables.I dont know what happened,
