Can't Defrag?
Hey all,
I wanted to complete a disk defragement on my C drive but it says that I need to run the Chkdsk Utility first. I just ran the Chkdsk program and it cleaned up some errors. What is going on here? Please help! Thanks! :) |

Hi CrissyCakes,
Sounds like a problem on the harddrive. Now would be a good time to backup your data. Try the dfrag again and see if it will work now. Download and run the disk manufacturer's diagnostic program. If you don't know what the manufacturer is, look in the Device Manager or in the System Information. Best regards, Mack1
