1394 Conection problem
I have a Dell Inspiron wireless laptop running XP. I am connected to a wireless network using Linksys WRT54GS. I also have a desktop and another laptop connected as well. The other laptop and desktop connect to the internet just fine...but my DELL will not. I can connect wirelessly at school....and also using an ethernet.
I checked my 1394 connection and it says it is connected. I checked the sent and received.....and there is 0 for each. I have disabled and then enabled it again. When I click repair.....I receive the following message..... "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action could not be completed: TCP/IP is not enable for this connection. Cannot proceed" I cannot connect to the internet. I can ping my router with success....but cannot ping an internet address. Can you please help me? |

Re: 1394 Conection problem
Welcome to TSF....
It seems strange that you are using the 1394 port for this since your model of router = WRT54GS does not have andy of the 1394 ports on it they are all Ethernet. What type of wireless device are you using that is 1394? http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...6187924130B368
