Reformatted computer and internet connection will not come up!

We just reformatted out laptop with win xp, and our connection to the internet will not come up, the wi-fi will not come up either, anyone know what we can do?

You need to reinstall the drivers.

Yup. Specifically your network adapter/ethernet controller (assuming you have one) drivers.

If you don't know how to do this, right click My Computer, go to the Hardware tab, and click on Device Manager.
