Computer starts up by itself
I have a Dell optiplex GX110, pentium III 730 MHz, 256mb ram desktop computer running windows xp home service pack 2. When we are not using this computer we turn off the surge protector. When the surge protector is turned back on the computer automatically starts up by itself.
How can I stop this? |

Re: Computer starts up by itself
Right-click on My Computer,
Click Properties, Click the Advanced tab. Under “Startup & Recovery,” click Settings. Under “System Failure,” uncheck the box in front of “Automatically restart.”
