opening file
Can anyone help me open a file,
I recently bought a electronic car manual but cannot open it , I have pdf files so i know i can view them ,but this one is "wsm" A popup tells me that 'some componants needed to complete this operation are missing but information about them maybe available on the adobe website' I have tried the website but found nothing to help,do i need a plug in ? |

have you tried to veiw this in the note pade / word pad ? it just might show it to you !!! not for sure if it will but its a try but you may just have to update adobethru the program it self , if you need to know how let me know i will giv you the steps / for it could be a language thing for adobe mike |

Hi alanw, welcome to TSF..
do you know if the file you downloaded was supposed to be a video manual? Some online manuals are produced in video/interactive format for ease of use. If you think that may be the case, you could try making a backup of the file and then renaming the extension to .vob and then see if a video player is able to read it. WSM is not the extension. It's either, ISO, UIF, ZIP or RAR. Go to this webpage and view the tutorials:
