This is the pop up that i recieve about every 8 seconds
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:0537 IP:ffe0 OP:fe ff 1e 09 ae Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. It then asks me to 'Close' or 'Ignore' I have no idea how to fix this problem because I am not very good with computer trouble shooting. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. Thank you |

Re: system32\cmd.exe error please help!
Make sure that you View all HIDDEN files in explorer (Folder options/view settings)
- See in C:\windows\system32 if you have the files cmd.com and regedit.com - the original files from Windows are cmd.exe and regedit.exe not .com - delete cmd.com and regedit.com files as they are not required - make sure that you have the .exe files. ************************************************************ there is a chance of virus infection.so use a popular "updated" antivirus.if this dont help try using the hijackthis log as mentioned here http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html |
