IExplorer 7 Issue
Hey there,
New to this forum. Just worked on a problematic client PC (XP Home - P4, 3.0 GHz, 512Ram) Installed app Windows Live OneCare called for an update from IE6 to IE7. Downloaded and installed ok but it hangs when opened and Task Manager is the only thing that kills the process. Tried it twice, same result. Rollback to IE6 works fine but I'd like to know why IE7 is hanging. Has anyone encountered this before? In case it's somehow related I'm not able to defrag C: either with my fav defrag utility: Iobit Smart Defrag... http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.html?Str=download. Any suggestions deeply appreciated. Tony |
