My hard drive is a mess and my mate replaced a file in the windows/system32 folder. It will not start up in safemode, normal, command promt (anything)....
I came up with the plan that i should install windows onto the other hard drive (which is currently empty) so i can replace the one file and not have to format the drive windows is currently installed on it. I tell the computer to boot from CD ROM and it says something along the lines of: "INVALD SYSTEM OR BOOT DISK" and the windows xp disk is in! What can i do? i want to be able to re-install windows. The xp i have on the hd will not let me do anything because of this... My copmuter will not start up... Please help! i have looke don the net and everythign assumes i can get to a command promt. I can't! |
