Xp home crashes after making network connection from XP pro PC

I bought recently a HP Pavilion computer with XP home. When I try to connect from my other pc with XP Pro, it crashes everytime.

The weirdest thing is that it worked for a while, just after installing. I tried reinstalling several times, but no sollution. I can make connection from my XP home to XP pro. But the other way it crashes every time.

So I thought, maybe upgrade also my HP to XP pro. That resulted in a blue screen at start up with error in the HpcFilt.sys file.
I tried installing an other network card, but no sollution. I tried de-installing the network connections, on both computers but no sollution. I tried updating windows XP home. Nothing...

Several emails to HP didn't help me out. The told me to update the intel chipset. But that didn't help either.

Can anybody help me out? I'm out of idea's :o
Or where could I find extended help for this?
