Svchost.exe is using 100% cpu
My computer has been really messing up lately. I recently installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 but I had problems with my network with "limited or no connectivity", i looked at forums and they reccomended uninstalling SP2, which i did but i immeadiately ran into troubles with my network and Svchost.exe. I reinstalled SP2 but the problems persisted and no i have no internet on that computer and i can barely access anything because svchost.exe is using 100% of my cpu. i have to go into safe mode to do pretty much everything. Someone please help me.

Welcome to TSF.
Just to make sure that it's not a virus or spyware causing the problem, do the following: Run an online virus scan at TrendMicro or RAV Antivirus. Select the Autoclean option if you use TrendMicro. Please download HijackThis. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Run a scan and save the log file. Post the whole log file here. Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required). This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer.
