[SOLVED] Unable to view hidden folders/files

Even though i set it to "view hidden files etc" it automatically sets it back to default.

Any idea why? Virus maybe?

regards, S

Confused Re: [SOLVED] Unable to view hidden folders/files

I'm having the same problem. But I formatted my drive last night, and reinstalled XP from scratch. I still can't view hidden files/folders. ...Virus???

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to view hidden folders/files

After searchinng the web it seems RavMon might be my problem. I'm guessing it's on one of my other drives. I found a ravmon removal tool, so I'll try that 2nite along with the reg edit in this thread. Hopefully that solves my problem. Thanks
