Re: Slow Computer Shutdown

To help out a little kalim you are goign great here just wanted to throw my 2 cents into the mix... Yellow that pop up is normal when you restart just ignore it it tell it ok or cancel i cant remember the exact option. It seems to me if you have limewire(which you shoudlnt becuase they are showing all their ip's in court right now) your computer is more then likely infected again. Also limewire is notorious for eating system recourses and slowing your computer down. What are you using it for? If you are just downloading music and programs dont tell us becuase we done condone it but IMO i would get rid of that and you will be already better. Also get the antivirus and anti spyware going again. Do full scans on your system them post the log for one of the analysts to look over again in the HJT section.

Re: Slow Computer Shutdown

Yea, as Codeman stated, I only advised for the HJT log because the last thing the security team advise after a clean system is an anti-virus, firewall and an anti-spyware - non of which you have had all this time, which is very dangerous. It takes a few minutes without them to be infected again, so now you're back to square one, until they clear you.

For the System Config box, just cancel it for the meanwhile. We'll get rid of it after the HJT team finishes with you.
