uninstalling powercinema
hello
could anyone help me in getting rid of powercinema, a program which disgusts me - the most irritating program i have come across...which loads (taking about five minutes) everytime i put a CD in.. It doesn't seem to have an uninstall program with it, its not in the add/remove programs panel and i even tried to do it manually by deleting the folder c:/APPS/powercinema and was rather impolitely denied by windows - it won't let me delete certain .dlls (i was going to delete it from the registry but that seems pointless if i can't get rid of the actual files). Thanks x P.S. any recommendations on a nice, free DVD playing program would be welcome, one that doesn't decide to load up constantly when i don't want it to.. thanks |

Re: uninstalling powercinema
Hi, and welcome to TSF!
![]() It sounds like this could be a malware issue. I suggest you take a look at this thread: http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html Then, head on over to the HJT log analysis forum here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...this-log-help/ The Security Team will help you there. Give them a couple days, though, they are busy.
