System Restore w/o original hardware ? ?

I need to do a system restore. If i leave hardware in, that wasn't factory installed (graphics card) (power supply) (keyboard/mouse), how would this effect the system restore? Should i re-install the original hardware before i do this system restore?

It shouldnt affect the drivers for your new hardware.
