Re: runetime

You are going to need to explain what you are trying to do a little clearer. You said runtime so I can only think of remote control. Such as sending and invitation perhaps?

Microsoft calls it "remote assistance" you can invite someone to control your pc and specify how many days the invitation is valid. Is that what you are asking?

Re: runetime

OK, this almost sounds like something parental control software could handle. I'm guessing you aren't running a server or have a server in your environment?

If you had a server, I'd say restrict his login to the domain only and the server could control the times it is valid. But with a basic windows O.S. I don't think there is any such thing that is built in.

If you were talking about internet access, there are some routers that can have times setup to do that. Let me give you something to take a look at and see if the features these software suites have sound like they would do the trick for you.

This suite from SentryPC sound likes exactly what you are looking for. Have a look: http://www.sentrypc.com/sentrypc.htm

I would recommend the above but comparison purposes, read below.

Below are strictly parental control suites that have been highly rated but doesn't get to much into specifics on PC management:

Here's a comparison of all the popular suite features:

Let us know if this is what you are looking for.
I've exhausted my research on this for a non enterprise environment. Sentry looks pretty darn good.
