Registry Question
Hi, I've recently started fresh on a new hard drive and would like to copy some of the registry keys from my old hard drive so i can copy the files and registry from some of my games and apps so that i dont have to worry about re-installing.
The problem is the old hard drive has a damaged version of windows, so i cant boot up to windows and use regedit, i can however access the files that are on the hard drive, from my new one. Is there a way to access the registry of the old hard drive, from the windows on the new one? |

you're better off installing each app fresh. there is no way to guarantee you get all the necessary keys and values, even if you could easily access the old registry.
