Burning Dvd Help

Hey guys whatsup, i download many movies, many in avi, wmv and dvix local format. I have nero burning suite 6.0, How would I burn a movie onto the dvd so that it would play on a dvd player? I know nero converts files when burning, but what option would i choose? Or does anyone recommend an easy to use program? It would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt we will be allowed to answer this, due to the nature of how you get the movies, if they were home movies however we could probably tell you.
