My System

Hi...not sure if malware is the cause of that problem (even though there are some dubious entries in the log).

If you have a close look at the screenshot, you will see that the music files have a .exe extension. Perhaps if you change that, they will be ok??

As for the possible malware infection....may be linked to downloading files with torrent clients???

Just remove the .exe from each of them to see if that helps. Don't change their original extensions but you can see them displayed from the screenshot anyway (mp3).

i did that but windows media player says stuff ( see pictures)
I selected yes on the one that ask me if i want to try and play it anyway and i click close on the second one

Ok...can you post a fresh screenshot of the music files in their folder please?

Also, in Explorer:

- Click Tools -> Folder Options -> View
- Ensure that 'Hide extensions for known file types' is UNCHECKED please

Also, I have just noticed that a number of those song titles contain strong language...as this is a family forum, is there any chance you can edit them to blur out those words please? Or perhaps, move those files to another folder and redo the screenshot and re-upload it then delete the offending ones??

here you go srry this computer is used by three users and i did bc windows media player wouldnt play .mp3 extenionsneither (same error as .wmp extensions)
