Safe Mode Busted?

Hi all..i was workign on another problem so i tried to boot in safemode. However, safemode would not load. Open selecting F8 -->start in safemode, i was greeted by a black screen and a wall of white text giving the approximate values of something to the effect below.

"multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files
multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files
multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files
multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files
multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files

Any idea what may cause this and how i can fix it?

This always shows when you start in Safe Mode (well, at least it does on my machine ). It can take some time for Safe Mode to start, so try again and be patient. If it still won't load then you may have to consider something else. Let me know how you get on.

Don't feel silly . That may not be the answer, but is the first thing to consider.

If safe mode hangs on one of these:

multi(o)disk(2)partition/system32 driver/random names of files

Post back with the exact file that it is hanging on.
