Media Center Remote on windows xp
Hey wasn't sure if this was the right section but here it goes anyway,
I have a windows xp home sp2 pc and i bought a microsoft media center remote control and receiver hoping to use it with another media centre type program eg media portal, is there anyone who has this setup or has any tips, i was considering buying windows media center edition but you can only get it with a new pc....:-(. any advice would be great thanks

not too worry, bought media center on amazon today for only 114 euro with an upgrade coupon to vista,
 so i'm very happy
