DVD problem
A few months ago I bought an Acer Aspire 5600 laptop with Windows XP. The specification came with a DVD drive that promised to read and burn both DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs.
To date, I haven't managed to get it to burn anything. It doesn't accept me trying to drag-and-drop data onto DVDs, and the Format option which should show up in context menus is just not there. Is there anything I can do, or do I just have to send the machine back to the manufacturer? |

I have a 5670, and it only burns +rs, but it does burn them.
Have you tried using an actual program, like nero, to burn disks?
