Hi my network has gone VERY slow and my computer has gone sluggish, leaving it on the user screen for a while will crash the computer as when you move the mouse from the black screen, all that comes up is the curser and I have to turn it off at the wall.

I sometimes get the error "This system is shutting down. The System process system32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly. Status code 204" and it gives me a 60 second countdown, then restarts. Mostly occurs when on the internet.

I have done virus checks and spyware checks using AVG and online scans.

I have done something to the registry where i located a file ....../shares or something.

This hasn't worked...

I have done a hijackthis logfile maybe this will shed light on the problem?:

I closed everything and left task manager on for a few minutes and looked at the CPU usage, despite it staying at around 3% the line graph goes to 100% then back down all the time. So instead of a low line I have lines up and down as if there is the biggest earthquake in history!

Also when I open IE sometimes it will take ageeeeessss and come up with page cannot be displayed, or it will load quickly as normal.

I have tried defragmenting and using registry cleaners etc

Cheers guys. Hope you can help. Have 4 computers on the network and they have all gone very slow.

why did i go staight to that suggestion? Simple, p2p. You probably have spyware/malware or virus. Follow the instructions and then post log on HJT.
