Laptop Will Not Boot!

Hey people...

Got a pretty bad problem with my sis' laptop

Basically, when i press the power button... it starts booting. Shows the normal "Windows XP" icon with the blue scrolling load thing, the screen goes blank. Then nothing else happens... just a blank screen, the power indicator is still on so it cant be a power supply problem... Is it possible to fix this through the boot menu?

any help will be appreciated!!!

My System

You possibly have a display driver that has gone corrupt. Boot into safe mode and remove the diplay driver.
