Accidently Deleted Regestries, Help!

I downloaded a registry cleaner, so I used that, but i noticed that there were certain regestries it wouldnt delete, so i went into regedit and deleted them myself. Apparently that was bad, and i realized it so I quickly wanted to do system restore, but system restore wouldn't open, nor could i use Run on the start menu. So i tried restarting my computer, and I can't even get to my desktop anymore, it stays at the windows logo. What do I do? Help. :(
(I'm willing to lose anything I have on the comp)

EDIT: (im posting this from a notebook since i cant use my pc)

Tap F8 when you reboot (tap it repeatedly to make sure you get to the right menu).

Then select Safe Mode and click Enter then Enter again....Windows will then load but it won't look as it normally does (this is normal so don't worry).

Then log on to your profile or the system admin profile then try System Restore in the normal way :)

I tried what you suggested, ran in safe mode, but it still takes me to the blue screen with the windows logo, I never got to the select my profile step. Could it be possible that a registry I deleted got rid of my profiles? I can move my cursor around on this blue screen with the windows logo, but there is nothing I can select. Normally my profile will appear on a blue screen next to the windows logo, but there're no profiles.

It's unlikely that you've actually deleted the profiles...but you've probably just deleted some keys needed to boot properly. Can you remember what the keys were that you deleted?

Also, do you have a Windows XP install disc?

I can't tell you what the registry cleaner program deleted, but I can tell you what I manually deleted in RegEdit, or at least what I remember. I will replace characters I can't remember with a *. It was in HP Local something, software\c****\bunch of numbers in some parentheses\p*****server, no install disk
