OS: Window Vista, Ubuntu
|
I'm new here! :D
I have a lot of problem with my laptop! Please listen to my problem! I have window vista. My laptop is NEC Versa E6500. Recently, I heard about a new operating system(OS) called Ubuntu. I wonder what is the OS look like. So I search for it on Youtube. I found out that I love it! :D So, without my parents knowledge especially my uncle because my uncle was really expert on computer and he is the one that always fixed my laptop if their is any problem, I installed the Ubuntu 9.04 myself(MYSELF MYSELF) hear that word! MYSELF!!! Since I have window vista, I try to have more than one operating system, that is Window Vista and Ubuntu 9.04. Im not expert on this kind of thing. I have no idea how to install more than one operating system, so I search for any guide from internet, window vista help and support, and others. So, I found out that the only way to install more than one operating system is through disk partition (a new word that I learn) :D So, then I installed Ubuntu 9.04 myself without any expert help even my uncle. Guest what, I download Ubuntu 9.04 iso image, then I burn the iso image into a new blank disc. Yesss, finally I can installed Ubuntu 9.04!!! So, I start my laptop as usual, and I given two choice to choose between my window vista os or ubuntu 9.04 os during the reboot. So, I choose Ubuntu 9.04, to try it out! :D After succesfully boot the Ubuntu 9.04 os, I try to type, guest what????? I CANNOT TYPE MY KEYBOARD ON UBUNTU OS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I search for any suitable keyboard layout for Ubuntu, but I found none of it were working. Sometime I need admin, but I cannot acces admin since I cannot use my keyboard nor the onboard(on-screen keyboard) on Ubuntu! I try to find the way to solve this problem at Ubuntu launchpad! I post a new thread. A guy try to help me with my problem and I follow everything what he suggest but none of it were succesfull to fixed this stupid heck of evil problem!!!! GUARGHhhhh Finally, I found out that the truth is Ubuntu os will never recognize NEC Versa E6500 keyboard layout!!! DAMN IT! I know about this truth when I find a number of people that have NEC Versa E6500 cannot type the keyboard on Ubuntu os. So now I know the problem! The next problem is how to UNINSTALL THIS OS. Hear that??? UNINSTALL ONE OF THE TOUGHEST THING ON A SINGLE COMPUTER. I found out that some people on the internet try uninstall Ubuntu os, and they said that it's a risky job, and i found out that one of the way to uninstall this os from a partition on window vista is by reinstall window vista os!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!! I cryyy. I have no idea that know my hard disk look so stupid and idiot! Look at that picture. Please help me to make the disk as usual like this: hard disk: c 75GB and hard disk: d 75GB like usual. I do not want like the below picture!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ddd.jpg partition.jpg Doesn't it look very stupid work that I done!!! Yeah, you guys must be noticed that It look like Classic Window! It's because now I have to use Safe Mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next problem> Why I used safe mode??? It's because of the stupid heck of The Blue Screen of stupid evil, I mean death... I am so angry!!! I have know idea why the blue screen appear. I know that it's because some of my software or hardware, or maybe registry problem and virus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I installed a registry cleaner to fixed the registry problem, (check) I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 to kill the virus (check), but I cannot uninstall the software! Recently, I installed a lot of software, application or program... Everything work fine, until, one day, blue screen of death appear... I know because of my hardware and software. So, I disable my hardware that have problem. How about the software??? The software work fine as usual until..... for example, I already installed Camtasia Studio 6 software and it's work fine but after a few day it's..... I mean when I click to open the program, it's not appear, I confuseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Not just that, other software also stop working but not all program. So I try to uninstall it cause I know it's one of the major cause of the blue screen of, ahhhhh i do not want to say death, waste my time!!!!! Some program I able to uninstall but some program unable to uninstall. When I try to uninstall the program that I cannot uninstall, my computer will freezessssssssssssssssssss. How to uninstall it????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I cannot even uninstall it during safe mode! I'm clueless..... So I try to reinstall the program but for example I try to reinstall the unworking(wrong word) :D program that is Camtasia Studio 6, but after I almost install it, it will stop at last one second(it's freezes), I have no idea what to do, so I plug my laptop's battery to shut it down immediately. Everytime my laptop freezes, I will do that!!! :D So, I use TuneUp Utilities 2010, to delete any files that I think not working or when I installed the program, it just finished half way. And I know that finally this thing will cause even major problem that lead to blue screen because I not use uninstall program to uninstall the program, but I use the shrink from TuneUp Utilities 2010 to delete it! I know I'm pretty stupid but I not... hehehehehehehe :D I always have window errors pop up on my computer... I still have a lot of problem but this is the only thing I can tell... ![]() So, the conclusion is HELP MEeeeee... Please do not use an easy alternative to fix it like reinstalling my window and other... Thank you so much for reading this problem! I know that some of you are expert! Please help me! I begging you! Sorry for my english! wrong grammar!!! :D Ohhh, for your information, I'm just 15 :D |

Re: Please help me! Help me! Pleaseeeeeeeee
Do you get a repair option when you hit f8 during boot up? If you hit f8 after you see the computer company screen. If you haven't then try a repair on it, that will restore the laptop back to the day you got it. I don't think it will change the partitions back but it should get you out of safe mode.

Re: Please help me! Help me! Pleaseeeeeeeee
Hi -
The problems you have described - - installed Ubuntu (it has been around for a while) - used registry cleaners - used PC Tune-up - stuck in safemode (or BSODs appear) - installed KIS - cannot uninstall - infections - can't perform system repair - AERO glass screens gone - etc... I think the best option for you at this time is to re-install Vista. Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |

Ok OP= Original poster
Do you have any freinds who might have a windows vista disk you can borrow. If you look on the bottom of the lap top you should find a few stckers on it an one with a microsoft windows product key sticker. That key is used during install of windows, when it asks for the key you type it in. |
