Start-Up Problem.
Hello,
![]() This is the first time I have ever had an issue with my laptop (Sony Viao VGN-FZ240E). I'm afraid it may be a little complecated, and this is also the first time I have ever needed help trying to sort this out. So be gentle with me lol. This situation needs a bit of detail. Sorry for long post. Problem started a few months ago, I was trying to run F.E.A.R Preseus Mandate, I bought the value deal and all the other games worked but that one, I kept getting a C++ error, so I updated my drivers, it didn't work, but so I gave up, but from then on all four of these would pop-up during my start up, It didn't really bother me, or seem to cause any issues, so I just always hit allow. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a...st2007/***.jpg So, leading up to yesterday, I was trying to run starcraft, the game didn't run properly since I got the driver update as I said mention before, it would go as a very small screen in the center of my screen with a black background. To fix that, I went Display Settings > Advanced Settings > Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile (tab) > Graphics Property > Display Settings > Aspect Ratio Options > Full Screen (no border). Then I restart and boom, starcraft works like a dream. Now here is where my problem happened. When I hit allow to thouse four programs that open at my start up, on the last one, my screen went black and my laptop went in overdrive for a few seconds (fan freaked out, loud noises that its never made before) after a few seconds it went away, so I thought to myself, maybe because I just changed my Display Settings, and played starcraft for a while. When I exited the program, I noticed it said my battery was "Not detected" now I know its not dead, because I use this laptop as a desktop, its always pluged in, I made sure its properly connected and all the fun stuff, and contacted sony. who told me this: http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/d...rnalId=C390705 Sorry, but I can normaly figure out these problems on myself, but since it seems to be a cluster of problems I am very afraid that if I do anything I could risk screwing up my computer even more. Sorry for the long post and long story, but I really need some direction on this. ;_; |
