Start up problem
Hey, there WAS a problem with my Acer Aspire laptop where it would just freeze for no reason during start up. And, I couldn't do anything. I'd go in to set up and it would say "Loading Start-Up" or something, but it would just freeze. I don't know why it happened, since, I usually don't trn off my computer at night so I left it running like usual and when I woke up this problem was here, anyways a week and a half later I went to write the problem to look for an answer and well, it's working. I don't really need a fix for right now, but incase it does happen again, well, it's good to know what to do.

Re: Start up problem
In that case, i would try a reboot. I know, that is the simple answer but it is amazing what a reboot will do. Sometimes, the memory just needs to be freed up or something duting startup didnt configure right that time.
If the reboot does not work, report back with any errors that you may find. Write them down. Now, from what i can understand it seems like your startup is just slow. So, to help that, while you are in your laptops OS (whichever you are on) check what is running on startup. I like to use the utility CCleaner for that. Its a powerful little tool so be careful. Download it, disable (not delete) anything that is UNNECESSARY. I stress that because i have had customers that wanted me to not let it run on startup and then they complained that it was not runnning on start up. Any update services, unnecessary programs, fluff, etc... dont NEED to run on startup. Just a tip :D |
