Hi just bought a new computer today and everything is good but i can't connect to the internet (Doing this now off my old one) im on dial up and everytime i pulg in the phone cable looking thing you get form your ISP it makes my dial tone go away so i can't contact - ive tried changing it etc but it wont work. Also is works fine with my old computer but not my new one, anyone know why? thanks

I'd be VERY surprised if the new PC has a dial-up modem in it (although some laptops still do?), Does the cable definately fit properly into the socket on the PC? What new PC/laptop do you have?

Yeah, just post make and model of computer.. So we can check to see if the New PC has an internal dial up modem.. Hmm.
May not be have one. However if it doesn't and you can't for any reason pay for Broadband then Dial Up modems can still be bought, just contact your PC manufacturer, for help =) Regards Poyol |
