Re: Windows 7 Bluescreen

Make sure your RAM is seated. Also, try a memory diagnostic from windows. Ill provide the link at the bottom of this post.

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

Try that. Burn to disk and boot from the disk itself. Upload the results when you're finished.

Thanks

More info on the STOP error: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html#0x0000007F
As you can see, memory is by far the most common reason for this error.

Re: Windows 7 Bluescreen

Hi this is some info on your error code
0x0000007F: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
(Click to consult the online MSDN article.)
One of three types of problems occurred in kernel-mode: (1) Hardware failures. (2) Software problems. (3) A bound trap (i.e., a condition that the kernel is not allowed to have or intercept). Hardware failures are the most common cause (many dozen KB articles exist for this error referencing specific hardware failures) and, of these, memory hardware failures are the most common.
General Causes {KB 137539} Win NT, Win 2000, Win XP
Windows Stops Responding with Stop Error 0x7F Error Message {KB 814789} Win 2000, Win XP (when running Terminal Services)
Windows NT 4.0 Setup Troubleshooting Guide {KB 126690} NT 4 (Recommendations for the current error message are buried down inside this article, which isn’t necessarily limited to NT 4.)
info found here http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm
Run the tests as advised or use memtest86+ http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http:/...y&ved=0CAoQygQ and unzip it burn to disc use img burn http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download and test one stick at a time then swap them to the others socket and run again this will help test the ram and sockets

Re: Windows 7 Bluescreen

ok i passed the standart test 5 times, no errors
then i switched to extended but it seems that this test takes a lot time so i aborted with no errors...

btw:
the bluesceens contained beside the 7F

a tcpip.sys fault too (dunno if it is the consequence of ram failure)

Re: Windows 7 Bluescreen

Hi you need to run the test for a couple of hours as this will put the ram under load for a period where any issue can surface

Re: Windows 7 Bluescreen

hello,

sorry i just 'forgot' my thread.

ok i ran the thest several hours and i got errors there.
so rechecked the memory settings, i found the problem at the VDIMM voltage.
i increased it by 0.5v , everythings fine now @ 552Mhz , no bluescreens anymore

:)
