internet problems!!! HELP!!

I am trying to fix my uncle's laptop. Right now he can't use the internet under regular mode on Vista. However he can get on when he goes to Safe Mode with networking. Anyone know how i can fix this. Thanks in advanced.

Another thing i forgot to mention is that i want to get it going wireless. The thing is that it finds my router but it cannot connect to my router.

you may need to set up the router for wireless,as to your present issue you can try this

My routers configuration is set to wireless to be on. I read that article you posted doing the netsh command in command prompt. The laptop can see that there is a router. but it won't connect. Anything else :(

check your firewall or antivirus is not blocking you
