Re: Laptop malfunctioning
Hi and welcome to TSF please post you full make and model of your computer, from what you say you do get to your desktop,so try running sfc /scnw http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66...c-command.html to check the files and repair if possible,
Edit please note for the future making double threads on the same subject is not a good thing if you need to you can use bump on the existing thread but please leave some time before doing this also if you need to edit you have around 30 mins from your last post to edit in

And my kaspersky is outdate because i can update it with the internet because the internet is not connecting.I am really confuesd cos i dont know what to do.I was thinking may be i should format the system if that will solve the problem.pls assist.Thank you. |

Re: Laptop malfunctioning
Hi please try this
How to Fix “Could Not Connect to the System Event Notification Service” Error 1- Log on to your Windows system. Just ignore the error message for the time being. 2- Go to Windows Start button -> All Programs -> Accessories 3- Right click on Windows Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator. Wait for the Command Prompt to launch. 4- Using the command prompt, navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\ folder. 5- Type “netsh” and press Enter. The prompt will change to netsh> 6- Type “Winsock reset“. Press Enter once more. 7- Reboot your computer. I cannot guarantee this but I think it should work info found here http://www.techmalaya.com/2009/01/26...windows-vista/
