Re: Simple Windows 7 question

Hi,
It will expire on June 1, 2010 but will shutdown after 2 hours of use starting March 1, 2010. You can reboot as many times as you want but after each 2 more hours of running it will shutdown again.

Which version you get depends on your computer and your needs. What version Vista do you have?

Re: Simple Windows 7 question

Your Vista will work just fine. But if you've installed Windows 7 over it, it's still going to time out starting in March 2010.

So, you've got until March 2010 to decide to upgrade or not.
If not, then you'll have to reinstall Vista.
If so, then you'll have to install the new copy of Windows 7 that you'll have to purchase.

Here's a link that describes the different versions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...oducts/compare
