Slow Cpu staticy sound

about a month ago i noticed when i would run itunes and a game called gamekiss: freestyle every 10 to 15 min it would slow way down and the sound would go staticy... i decided to look into the problem about a week ago and i have found many answers but none of them worked. i came to this site and figured i would post it here. recently it has started to occur more often and sometimes even when im just running one thing like google chrome or IE i also noticed that my cpu usage hovers around 30-40 % and when it slows down it jumps to 100% so if anyone can help please do

i am running on vista =]

Re: Slow Cpu staticy sound

Look in the Processes tab in Task Manager.

What process is causing the spikes?

Re: Slow Cpu staticy sound

List the complete specs of your system.

List temps and voltages from the BIOS.

Re: Slow Cpu staticy sound

Reboot computer and hit the F2 key before Windows loads. That will take you to the Setup Bios, look for PC Health or something like that and post the voltages, temps and fan speeds. Also, blow out all fans with compressed air prior to going into the bios.
