Confused Microphone Problem.

Hi, the problem is that my microphone, Cosonic CD-719mv, for my headset isn't working. It worked a few weeks ago on my Vista laptop but now when i try and talk to people all they receive is a loud muffled sound. On my other computer with vista it works fine though. I've checked all the settings and it says it's working fine so i have no idea how to get it to work. It's just the mic that doesn't work, the headphones work perfectly fine. Here's a picture of the headset, if that's any help:

Thanks a lot for any suggestions as to a fix to this problem.

Ben Steele.

My System

Re: Microphone Problem.

Run a DirectX Kernel diag report - make sure the mic in question is plugged in -
START | dxdiag | bottom-center of screen - 'save as text..'

I would like to see a dxdiag report from EACH Vista system, please.

Zip them b oth up & attach to your next post.
